The GST Number consists 15 digits.
- The first two digit represent the State Code. Every State has a unique code. Like: State code of Chattisgarh is 22.
- The next 10 digits will be the PAN number of Tax Payer.
- The 13 digit will be based on the number of registration within a state .
- The 14 digit will be ” Z” by default.
- The 15 digit will be for check code. It may be an alphabet or a number.
